Print Quality & Materials
More About Amadu QualityAll Amadu Prints are made using Hahnemühle Photo Rag® - a museum-grade paper cherished by artists and collectors worldwide. This 100% cotton, acid- and lignin-free paper is archival-certified, offering long-lasting quality and visual fidelity.
With a weight of 308gsm and a soft matte surface, it provides a subtly textured finish that enhances tonal depth, fine detail, and the rich compositions that define our abstract work. Each piece is printed using high-resolution giclée technology for gallery-standard clarity.
More than just a substrate, this is a collector-grade foundation - built to preserve the integrity, beauty, and value of your artwork for decades to come.
Giclée (zhee-clay) is the industry standard for museum-quality fine art printing. It blends archival pigment inks, high-resolution printers, and professional-grade papers to deliver stunning visual fidelity and longevity.
At Amadu Prints, each piece is printed on Epson large-format printers capable of resolutions up to 2880 dpi. This ultra-fine detail captures every nuance - deep tones, subtle gradients, and rich color saturation that stays true from any viewing distance.
We pair this process with Hahnemühle Photo Rag®, creating a final product that’s as durable as it is beautiful. Giclée prints are known to last well over a century without fading when properly cared for - trusted by galleries, artists, and collectors alike.
This isn’t just printing - it’s the gold standard in preserving art with uncompromising precision.
Yes—each Amadu print is crafted to museum standards using archival materials. We print using the giclée method, combining pigment-based inks with acid-free, 100% cotton Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper. This process ensures superior color stability, tonal depth, and long-term resistance to fading.
Tested to last over 100 years, our materials meet strict archival standards trusted by collectors, galleries, and museums worldwide. The paper is free from optical brighteners and lignin—common causes of discoloration—helping preserve both the visual and structural integrity of every piece.
To protect your art even further, we recommend keeping it behind the UV-protective glass provided with your print and avoiding prolonged direct sunlight. Whether placed in softly lit living rooms or professional interiors, your Amadu Print's print will maintain its vibrancy and clarity for decades to come.
Hahnemühle Photo Rag is considered the gold standard in fine art printing for its exceptional quality and archival performance:
- 100% cotton rag composition — natural texture and softness without synthetic additives
- Acid-free & lignin-free — guarantees archival longevity and prevents yellowing over time
- Soft matte finish — rich, velvety surface with minimal glare under lighting
- Impressive color depth — captures subtle tonal shifts and deep blacks with high fidelity
- Trusted by professionals — widely used in museum exhibitions, galleries, and artist collections
- Optimized for Giclée printing — perfectly suited for pigment-based inks and intricate detail retention
This paper doesn’t just display your art — it elevates it.
Yes. All limited edition prints include a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), verifying the artwork’s origin and value. Each certificate is:
- Individually numbered to match your editioned print
- Signed by the artist to confirm authenticity
- Printed on archival-quality paper for longevity and presentation
- Shipped with your order, separate from the print to prevent damage
Please refer to the individual product description to confirm whether a piece is part of a limited edition series. Open edition prints do not include certificates.
It depends on the edition type:
- Limited Edition Prints include the artist’s signature and come with a matching Certificate of Authenticity that notes the edition number. These works are produced in small, fixed quantities—once sold out, they will not be reprinted.
- Open Edition Prints are not signed or numbered. These are timeless, accessible artworks printed on the same museum-quality materials but without edition restrictions.
You’ll find edition details noted on product pages, so you can make a confident, informed choice based on your preferences.
Framing & Sizing
Yes—every Amadu print can be custom-framed using gallery-standard materials. Our handcrafted frames are available in natural oak or matte finishes in black or white, and each is paired with a precision-cut archival mount. Depending on the print size and fulfillment method, your artwork will be glazed with either standard UV-protective glass or 3mm museum-grade acrylic—both offering excellent clarity and long-term protection against fading, dust, and handling. The result is a clean, exhibition-quality presentation built to preserve your piece for years to come.
All framed prints are assembled by skilled technicians and arrive ready to hang—offering a clean, exhibition-ready finish straight out of the box.
For large-format or Collector’s Edition works, we also offer bespoke framing with true UV-protective glass for clients seeking a premium display solution. Please reach out if you’d like to explore this elevated option.
Each Amadu piece is offered in a single, curated size—one that is thoughtfully tailored to the artwork’s composition, visual rhythm, and intended spatial impact. You’ll find this specific dimension listed on the individual product page.
That said, we understand that some collectors may have unique display needs. If you’re looking to adapt a piece for a particular space or scale, custom sizing may be available upon request. Visit our Bespoke Works page for more information, where we're happy to present and explore options with you.

Custom Work & Commissions
Bespoke CommissionsYes, Amadu Prints welcomes custom commissions and bespoke artwork requests from both private collectors and commercial clients. Whether you’re envisioning a unique piece tailored perfectly to your home, a large-scale work designed for public or corporate spaces, or something conceptually distinct, we’re here to collaborate and bring your vision to life.
Each commission is handled with thoughtful care and creative integrity. All custom works are produced using the same museum-quality processes as our main collections - including archival giclée printing on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® and expertly handcrafted framing options.
If you’re interested in commissioning a piece, please get in touch via our Commissions Page or Contact Form to start the conversation.
Some artworks may be available in alternate color palettes or visual treatments, depending on the piece. If you have a specific variation or tonal shift in mind—whether to better complement your space or fulfill a creative vision—we’re happy to explore the possibilities with you.
All color variations are created by the original artist and printed using the same archival giclée techniques and museum-grade Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper as our primary editions.
Please Contact Us to discuss what options might be available.
Most works at Amadu Prints are offered as limited edition prints, produced in small, fixed quantities. Each print is individually signed (in Triptych Sets only the last print is signed) and accompanied by a matching Certificate of Authenticity with edition number listed. Once an edition sells out, it is permanently retired and will not be reprinted.
These limited editions are printed using archival pigment inks on museum-grade Hahnemühle Photo Rag® paper and are often available with bespoke framing options or as part of our Collector’s Edition program. Edition details are clearly listed on each individual product page.

Care & Maintenance
Each fine art print from Amadu Prints is produced using museum-grade materials and should be handled with care.
Always use clean, dry hands when handling your print, and avoid touching the printed surface directly. If your print arrives unframed, keep it protected in its original acid-free tissue wrap and store it flat in an archival sleeve or box until you're ready to frame or display it. We recommend avoiding rolling or bending—especially for larger prints—to preserve the artwork’s integrity. For full details, please see our Fine Art Care Guide.
To ensure the longevity and vibrancy of your print, we recommend professional framing with archival-grade materials.
All Amadu Prints frames meet conservation standards, featuring acid-free mounts and UV-protective glazing - either a shatter-resistant 3mm acrylic or glass glazing for elevated clarity and protection. To further safeguard your artwork, use acid-free backing and avoid direct sunlight or humidity.
If you have further questions about framing best practices or want help selecting the right option for your space, we’re always happy to assist.
Even with museum-grade materials, we recommend avoiding direct sunlight when displaying your artwork.
All Amadu Prints are produced using archival pigment inks on Hahnemühle Photo Rag—a paper renowned for its longevity and color stability. However, prolonged exposure to intense UV light can still impact both ink and paper over time. For optimal preservation, hang your print in a location with indirect or filtered light, and choose UV-protective glazing (included with all our framed prints) for added defense. With proper care, your piece will retain its richness and integrity for generations.
